Azure Infrastructure Architect – IaaS PaaS

Responsibilities:

• Create and  maintain the Azure infrastructure architecture for the constantly evolving suite of global Audit applications
• Design and document the network architecture
• Document the Azure solutions in conjunction with the other solution architects on the Audit team
• Understand the Azure Cloud (One Platform) and how to design the infrastructure architecture to support applications by leveraging both IaaS and PaaS capabilities.
• Understand stringent security requirements and how those security requirements govern architecture designs.
• Understand approved Azure design patterns and how to apply them in solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Knowledge of Azure Storage (Blob, Table, Queue)
• Knowledge of Azure vNet, Subnet, NSGs, ExpressRoute
• Knowledge of App Service and App Service Environments
• Knowledge of Azure Databases including Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database (managed and unmanaged instances)
• Knowledge of Azure solution architecture (IaaS and PaaS)
• Knowledge of architecture and infrastructure modeling

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, application and information architectures Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in technology or related field
