There are currently two Workday roles available.  One role will be focusing more on the Integrations (IPaaS / Dell Boomi) projects and the other will focus on configuration, reporting and security.

Senior Workday Analyst

We are currently seeking a strong Senior Workday Analyst to assist our client during their Workday HCM project implementation.  This individual will work closely with the workstream leads and vendor implementation partner to revamp business processes to support the project.  This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge of HR business processes and methodologies along with a strong analytical and reporting background. The candidate will have direct hands on experience in Workday HCM process design, configuration and implementation. They partner with diverse business stakeholders to lead numerous projects to increase business efficiency and automate business processes in Workday. They have excellent collaboration, problem solving and advanced technical skills. They provide technical guidance, are hands on, and respond to end user requests for new features, problem investigation, security configuration and complex reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end technical support for Workday HCM, including but not limited to: Core HCM Business Processes (Onboarding, Hire, Termination, Change Job), User Security, Core HCM meta data and organizational set up while exercising functional knowledge to highlight downstream impacts to Time & Absence, Benefits, Payroll and third-party systems
  • Ability to step into other functional areas when needed and utilize community to effectively hands on learn new features
  • Work closely with the business teams to understand functional requirements and execute them through successful implementation, testing and deployment with required documentation
  • Be able to run small to medium scale projects completely independently whilst using sound judgment to escalate issues when necessary
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Assist in resolving User “How To” questions and create relevant job aids/training/communications aids/learning/communications
  • Troubleshoot problems, test, and work with business to resolve issues
  • Act as a technical expert and advise stakeholders of best practice solutions for various business needs
  • Log, route, and maintain tickets in ticket tracking system; ServiceNow experience a plus
  • Configure and administrate data security and comply with policies and procedures
  • Design and develop custom reports as required for business users and senior executive management
  • Provide guidance and training to business teams on the future capabilities of the Workday and adoption blueprint
  • Coordinate feature/function cases with Workday and perform Workday Release tasks (2x per year)
  • Act with speed, while balancing quality and compliance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR Information System Management experience; Workday HR system knowledge, process, procedure
  • and best practices
  • 5+ years of global experience implementing and supporting HCM applications; desired areas of expertise include
  • Core HCM (Onboarding, Hire, Termination, Change Job, Compensation), Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent,
  • Performance, Learning and Absence
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday Security configuration and creation of complex Reports
  • Experience with Workday Time Tracking and Payroll a plus
  • Highly motivated individual with good customer relationship & support skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly with excellent analytical/technical aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task easily and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist business in determining a tactical approach on the existing application which needs to be enhanced
  • Code deployment and coordinating release validation
  • Must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience facilitating and tracking testing sessions (SIT, UAT, etc.)
  • End to end implementation experience including project management, issue management, communication and change management.
  • Day-to-day production support of live Workday environment a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project; SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
